Terms of Use
Effective October 7, 2026
These terms apply to taxresidencyexit.com and the California Tax Residency Course (the "Course"), offered by Learn State Tax LLC, 906 W. McDermott Dr., Ste 116-107, Allen, TX 75013 ("we" or "us"). By purchasing or using the Course, you agree to these terms.
Educational purposes only
The Course and this website are for educational purposes only. They do not provide legal or tax advice, and using them does not create an attorney-client relationship. Tax laws and their interpretation change, and every situation is different. Please consult your attorney or tax advisor about your own situation. We do not guarantee any tax result.
What you are buying
The Course price is $585, paid once through Stripe. It gives you access to the Course video modules and downloadable resources for one year from the date of purchase. After that, access ends unless you purchase the Course again.
Your access
Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable right to watch the Course and use its resources for your own learning. Access is through a personal link sent to your email address. Do not share your link or your access with anyone else. We may suspend or end access, without a refund, if we believe it is being shared or misused.
Refunds
All sales are final. We do not give refunds, except when a technical issue prevents you from accessing or playing the Course and we are unable to fix it within a reasonable time after you tell us about it. To report a problem or ask for a refund, write to info@learnstatetax.com. An approved refund is returned to your original payment method, and your access ends when the refund is issued.
Ownership and permitted use
The Course videos, written materials, downloads, logos and other content belong to Learn State Tax LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, record, download (except the resources we provide for download), share, post, resell, or create new works from them, and you may not try to get around the access controls on the site.
No warranties
The site and Course are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the Course will meet your needs or produce any particular outcome.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, taxes, penalties or interest, arising from your use of the site or Course. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or Course is limited to the amount you paid for the Course.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in or serving Collin County, Texas, and you agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted here, with its effective date, applies to your purchase when you make it.
